Bee Creative is a class for children 2 – 3 years of age
on Tuesday and/or Thursdays from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m., September 2011 through May 2012!
Weekly Tuesday or Thursday class for $100/month
Both Tuesday and Thursday for $180/month
We have created an enriching and engaging curriculum which will help
prepare your child for a lifetime of learning and creativity.

Our Welcome and Closing times allow children to choose an activity from one of our activity stations.
Circle time includes: songs, stories, felt boards, puppets, games and other activities which will reinforce the monthly theme. These activities will encourage concept retention and language development.
Art allows for fine motor skills development, creativity and self expression. The projects are intended to be "process" rather than "product" oriented.
During our Music and Movement time, the children's musical development will be nurtured while we sing, dance, play instruments and engage in imaginary play. We will also develop coordination, balance and physical confidence through gross motor activities such as: parachute, yoga and ball play.

About the Class
The goal of this collaborative effort between Mission Oaks Recreation and Parks District and Busy Bees Studio is to provide a mentally, socially and physically beneficial early childhood education class to our local communities.
Monthly themes such as: colors, shapes, animals and the five senses will provide a developmentally appropriate and fun way to learn! The theme for the month is consistent between Tuesday and Thursday classes, but the emphasis and presentation changes depending upon the day.
Our low student to instructor ratio (10 to 2) allows us to tailor activities to each child’s interest and ability.
This program was developed with the social, cognitive, and emotional development of children in mind.
About Us
Lisa Dupre, owner of Busy Bees Studio, has had the pleasure of teaching children: yoga, music and movement, science, etiquette and art for the past 4 years.
Jamie Matsumoto, a fully credentialed teacher and certified Montessori instructor, has a Masters in Education and has been teaching in California for over 10 years.
