Lisa Dupre
Founder of Busy Bees Studio and instructor for Music Pups, Itsy Bitsy Yoga and Etiquette
Lisa has a deep and life-long love of children and a passion for child development. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and has worked at a school for children with special needs as well as a substitute teacher. Most of her professional career has been in Healthcare Recruitment with Kaiser Permanente and Sutter Health. She has been a stay-at-home mom since her son, Coleman, was born in 2003. Lisa has practiced yoga for 8 years and it was in a yoga class where she realized that she wanted to teach it to children! She trained directly with Helen Garabedian, founder of Itsy Bitsy Yoga® and Shana Meyerson, founder of Mini Yogis®. While researching places to teach the yoga classes, she was inspired to open Busy Bees Studio. Lisa wanted to open a place where parents could find a variety of unique enrichment classes for their children in one location and where children would feel safe to learn, engage and express themselves. Additionally, Lisa wants Busy Bees Studio to be a resource for parents through its no-cost parent informational workshops. Mostly though, she wants Busy Bees Studio to be a place where children can try many activities in an environment where they feel special.

Elliana had a signing vocabulary of over 100 words by the age of 16 months, and is now speaking in complete sentences at 25 months of age. She is now teaching her baby sister some of her signs, which she still remembers!
